What to Expect
Join representatives from SkyTeam, Star Alliance, and oneworld for a fast‑paced, hands‑on session designed to demystify alliance benefits and help you make smarter program decisions. We’ll kick off with a quick “what do you know?” quiz, hear concise presentations from each alliance, and close with a “what did you learn?” challenge—with prizes
You’ll learn:
  • Loyalty choice: Whether travelers can credit miles to a different frequent‑flyer program than the airline they’re flying.
  • Status decoded: The difference between alliance‑level status and individual member‑airline status (what’s universal vs. what’s carrier‑specific).
  • Lounge logic: How lounge access works when status is with one alliance but the traveler is flying a partner airline.
  • Contracts reality check: If a corporate agreement with one airline in an alliance can extend benefits when employees fly other alliance partners.
Format & Agenda (per alliance)
  • 5 minutes: Ice‑breaker quiz (test your alliance IQ)
  • 15 minutes: Alliance benefits presentation (practical, buyer‑focused)
  • 10 minutes: Learning check quiz + open Q&A (win prizes)
Who should attend
Corporate travel buyers, program managers, procurement leaders, and anyone advising travelers on airline selection and benefits.
Why it matters
Alliance rules can be surprisingly nuanced. This session translates them into actionable guidance you can use in policy design, traveler communications, and supplier strategy—without the jargon.
